A quiet place to land

I’m Louise — a regulation-led sleep and bodywork practitioner specialising in nervous-system-based sleep support, therapeutic massage and Yoga Nidra.

My work sits at the intersection of science and story, body and behaviour, evidence and intuition.

Whether I’m supporting a parent through chronic sleep disruption, easing deep tension through bodywork, or guiding someone into profound rest, the intention is always the same:

to help the whole system settle… so healing can begin.

A regulation-led, trauma-informed practitioner supporting families and bodies back into safety.

Where this work began

For more than 22 years, I worked in Youth Work, supporting vulnerable children and families living through trauma, instability and emotional overload.
I’ve seen first-hand how exhaustion affects behaviour, learning, relationships, and the nervous system across an entire lifespan.

And then, my own story shifted the ground beneath my feet.

Navigating trauma, solo parenting, and chronic sleep deprivation taught me something no textbook ever could:

Sleep struggles are not failures of discipline —
they’re signals from dysregulated nervous systems.

And the same is true for chronic tension, pain, overwhelm, and the exhaustion parents carry silently.

When I experienced regulation-led support for myself — through bodywork, nervous-system-based sleep approaches, and rest practices like Yoga Nidra — my life changed.

That transformation became the foundation of this practice.

I’d Love to Help

The thread that ties my work together

Whether someone comes to me for:

sleep challenges

Chronic tension or pain

Emotional overload

Exhaustion

Dysregulation

A longing for rest they can actually feel

The work always begins in the same place:

Safety

Understanding

Regulation

Not scripts

Not quick fixes

Not routines that ignore the emotional story

I don’t try to force sleep or manipulate symptoms.
I listen — to the body, the behaviour, the patterns, the pauses, and the stories that have been carried for too long.

My approach is diagnostic, attuned, and deeply human.
Together, we restore the conditions that allow sleep, rest, and ease to return naturally.

Why I became a bodyworker

Alongside my work with families, I became increasingly aware of how trauma, stress, and chronic overwhelm live in the body long after the moment has passed.

Talking can help — but the body tells the deeper truth.

Massage therapy and Eastern bodywork opened a new doorway for me.

I trained deeply and widely: remedial massage, Thai structural bodywork, advanced stretching, prenatal massage, hot and cold stone therapy and yoga.

A year of study in Thailand transformed my understanding of the body as a landscape of experience, not just structure.

Today, my treatments are holistic, intuitive, and highly attuned — blending modern therapeutic techniques with Eastern philosophy to create space for release, regulation, and restoration.

This isn’t massage as pampering. It’s bodywork as healing.

Why Yoga Nidra became part of my work

Yoga Nidra is the deepest rest many people will ever feel.
It supports the nervous system, reduces hyper-vigilance, and gives the body a chance to repair in ways waking rest cannot.

For parents living in survival mode — or bodies carrying tension, trauma, or depletion — Yoga Nidra becomes a bridge back to themselves.

In my practice, it has become one of the most powerful tools for restoring calm.

The heart of my practice and beliefs

Sleep is not a behaviour to control — it’s a state the nervous system allows.

The body remembers everything — and it heals when it finally feels safe.

Parents are not failing — they’re overwhelmed and unsupported.

Rest isn’t a luxury — it’s the foundation for everything else.

Understanding is the beginning of transformation.

Whether you are here for sleep support, bodywork, or rest practices — you are welcome.

You don’t need to arrive regulated.
You don’t need to arrive clear.
You don’t need to arrive “ready.”

You just need to arrive.

Everything else, we do together.
